The Compassionate HeartUNIBUDS Meditation WorkshopTheme: The Compassionate Heart Metta is one of the more important teachings of the Buddha. During the last Meditation Workshop, the theme was Vipassana Meditation. Metta meditation is actually one of the 4 meditation practices in vipassana. It is one of the more important teachings of the Buddha. So what is metta or loving kindness? How can we practice it in meditation? Curious about how we can spread loving kindness through meditation? Then, you should really come for the workshop! The workshop will provide Dhamma talks and guided meditation to assist you in learning. Whether you are new to the concept of meditation/buddhism or otherwise, you are more than welcome to join. Dana (food) will be offered to Venerable as a practice of generosity, as such, you are welcome to bring in a dish or two to share with all. Please be mindful that the dish should be a vegetarian dish that does not contain garlic or onion with respect to the Venerable's diet. If you are interested to come along or to offer dana, drop me an email to let me know! If you decide to turn up last minute, it would be great as well. If there is any inquiries about the workshop, just contact me either by email or call. Speaker's Profile:
